Saponification Services

Saponification describes the basic soap making technique of combining whole oils such as coconut, olive, and avocado oils with a caustic such as potassium hydroxide. These materials undergo a fast exothermic reaction when combined under heat and pressure blending resulting in a natural soap. Released glycerin (humectant) is always retained in our soaps ensuring optimum non-drying properties.

With millions of pounds of natural soap produced annually over the last decade, Sanitek has the expertise to craft a formulation to your needs and specifications. With 1500-gallon and 3500-gallon reactors, Sanitek has the capacity to saponify up to 10,000 gallons of finished soap per shift.
